5 TIPS HOW TO CLEAN YOUR TEETH PERFECTLY 1. Do not clean your teeth right after eating! At this time the pH rate in our mouth is in the acid domain. In case we brush our teeth regularly just after eating it may cause serious harm on the enamel, a so called erosion, which is a half-moon shaped cavity at the tooth neck. 2. Always clean your teeth by a perfect technique! The inproper tooth brushing technique can cause a laesio similar to the above mentined erosion on your teeth, which is called abrasio. Never move your toothbrush horizontally just vertically and make tiny circles with your brush as well. 3. Care about the „red aesthetics” as well! Clean and brush your gum while you are cleaning your teeth. You are not only removing the plaque from your gum but also massaging it by moving the brush with a circular movement. This way your gum will become more hyperaemic and healthier. 4. Always start cleaning your teeth at your most problematic dental area! Therefore you should start on the inside of the lower incisors by using the concentrated „pea of toothpaste” to retard the tartar which tends to accumulate here first. General advice is that if you are right-handed, start cleaning your teeth on the right regio and if you are left-handed, on the left regio! This way the neck abrasion of your canines and premolars on the opposite side can be slowed down. 5. Always clean your teeth by a totally dry toothbrush! That’s the reason why you should use two toothbrushes to allow the bristles to get dry in 24 hours’ time. This way the cleaning, disinfecting and teeth whitening effect of your toothpaste will be enhanced. Besides it dicreases the sensitivity and blocks building up tartar. |
